Megan Andersen

Hello! My name is Megan Andersen. I am thrilled to say this is my sixteenth year as a Mullen Public Schools teacher. I grew up in Mullen and returned with my family in 2008. I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Secondary English Education from Dana College in 2001 and a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Doane University in 2010. I finished my School Counseling Endorsement through Chadron State College in May of 2018. Prior to returning to Mullen, I taught middle school Language Arts at Central Middle School in Eden Prairie, MN; prior to that, I taught middle school Language Arts at Raymond Central near Lincoln and taught a summer school class at Boystown in Omaha, NE.

I believe that each individual is a genius in their own way; it is my job to help support them in finding their inner genius. Currently, I teach English I, English II, Analytical Writing, English 6, Journalism, and Yearbook.

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my husband (Tim) and two daughters (Jadyn and Harper).

I enjoy reading, photography, and hanging out with my friends and family.
