Schedule: Games will begin at 2:00 pm CT.
“B” Game- 2:00; “A” Game- 3:00 (If able to have an A & B game)
Admission: Each athlete will be allowed to have 4 fans. Please use Covid passes.
Locker rooms: Locker rooms will not be used. Please come prepared.
Concessions: The concession stand will serve a limited menu.

Concessions: The concession stand in the school building will be open, the one near the football field will not be.
Stream: We will begin by streaming the JH volleyball, if there is still time, we will try to get the 2nd half streamed.

Activity Guidelines
The following guidelines will apply to Junior High Anselmo-Merna Public School Activities for the fall season of the 20-21 School Year. The purpose of these guidelines is to help create a safer competition environment for all students involved in the activity. These guidelines are subject to change depending on the risk level for Anselmo-Merna Public School as determined by the administration.
ALL ATHLETIC EVENTS
- All teams and spectators will enter the facility through the front door (South Parking Lot Door).
- Facilities will open for events 30 minutes prior to the first contest. Fans will be asked to limit their movement within the facility once they arrive. Fans are also asked to social distance within bleachers.
- We ask that fans wear face coverings on their way into the gym.
- Additional space will be created around the home and visitor bench areas along with the score table area to maintain proper social distance guidelines between the team benches/score table and fan seating.
- Concession stand will be available. Concession offerings may be limited. Social distancing will be expected.
- Fans are prohibited from entering the playing area or bench areas of either team. Players should not enter the stands to visit or greet fans prior or after games.
- Fans are required to leave the facility immediately following the conclusion of the final game of the evening.
- Please pick up locker rooms after the conclusion of games. Our custodians will sanitize after teams leave.
- Face coverings are strongly encouraged, but not required for admittance. The school reserves the right to require face coverings to any athletic event as needed.
- Visiting teams, please send a list of the fans for each athlete. This will be used to assist the health department in contact tracing, should an outbreak arise.
- Each athlete will be allowed 4 fans per athlete. Please send your list of 4 at least 2 days in advance.
VOLLEYBALL
- Teams will not switch bench areas between sets.
- Bench areas will be sanitized between matches for the next team.
- New Balls will be used for each match during a Triangular or Tournament.
- Post-game handshakes are prohibited per NSAA and NFHS guidelines.
- Face coverings may be worn by players on the court but not required.
- Teams are encouraged to provide their own hand sanitizer for their players. Please use during timeouts or when the ball is not in play.
- During triangulars, the team that is not playing must sit as a group in the stands.
- In the case of a tournament, each team will be provided a locker room/classroom. We expect teams to stay in the classroom/locker room if they are not playing. They may eat in their respective locker room/classroom. (Custodians will clean after the tournament.)
- Home team will film on the South Side of the gym and the Visiting team will film on the North Side of the gym.
- Home fans will sit on the South side of the gym, while visiting fans will sit on the North side.
- Please send athletes dressed and ready for all JH VB games.
FOOTBALL
- Visiting fans will be in the East bleachers. Home fans will be in the West bleachers. Fans are encouraged to utilize social distancing.
- Home fans that are not on an athlete list may come to the game in a vehicle. They are expected to stay in the vehicle for the entire game.
- Please keep visiting fans on their side unless there is an emergency.
- A-M fans will enter on the west side of the field, visiting fans will enter on the east side, and vehicles may enter on the south side of the field.
- Each team is allowed One (1) coach and One (1) filmer in the Press Box.
- Children must stay with parents. Children are not allowed to play on the north side of the football field during games.
- Youth pick-up football games are not allowed. Leave all balls and other sports equipment home.
- Post-game handshakes are prohibited per NSAA and NFHS guidelines.
- Athletes will be given a locker room on arrival. They will use the locker room in the Activities Building.
