Hello, I’m Trevor Ginkens! I am currently in my first year of teaching agriculture and shop here at Mullen. It is also my first year of teaching in general. I am from Harrison, Nebraska originally and grew up on a family ranch. I recently became engaged to my best friend Grayce and we have a dog named Walt. (If you see a black lab wandering town, call the school please.) I attended Sioux County High School and graduated in 2015.
I graduated from Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture in Curtis, Nebraska in 2017 with my Associates Degree in Animal Production Systems with a major in Agricultural Education. I then transferred to the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and completed my Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Education with majors in Agriculture Education (teaching option) and Cooperative Education.
During my years at college I was on both the NCTA Aggie and UNL Husker Rodeo Teams, respectively. Which leads me to a few of my hobbies; roping, hunting, and golfing.
I have roots here in Mullen and plan on staying as long as the community will have me. This is a great town with a strong tradition of being competitive and tough in sports and I want to build the FFA and Ag programs to match them and the outstanding FCCLA program here.
