Hello! My name is Emily Stichka. This is my first year at Mullen Public Schools, and my first year in education. I grew up in North Platte, where I graduated from NPHS in 2019. I graduated with my Bachelor of Arts in 7-12 Social Science Education from UNK in December of 2022. I am currently working on a Master of Science in Education in Learning, Design, and Technology (School Librarian emphasis), also through UNK, with plans to complete that degree in the summer of 2025. Last year, I worked at Mullen Public Schools as a Student Teacher in the fall and as a substitute teacher in the spring, and am excited to be here full time this year! Coming from a large school and bigger town, I love the benefits and challenges that come with living and working in a smaller community and school.
