Volleyball Guidelines:

LOCATION:  Hyannis Area Schools 

PARKING: Bus parking on the west side of building, using the west entrance ONLY TIME:  JH A team 1pm mst, B team to follow OFFICIALS:  Amanda Krueger FORMAT:  A team first followed by B (Each team staying on respective sides)

LOCKERS:   JH Girls locker room 

 CONCESSIONS:  No concessions

INDOOR GUIDELINES FOR SPECTATORS

Please review the following guidelines that have been set in place for Hyannis Area Schools.
These guidelines apply to all spectators which include, but are not limited to:
● Longhorn Team Fans/Friends/Family Members
● Opposing Team Fans/Friends/Family Members
● Media Personnel
● Hyannis Area School Personnel

Guideline 1: If you are exhibiting any of the following symptoms that are commonly associated
with Covid-19, we respectfully request that you do NOT attend any event until you are
symptom-free for at least 72 hours. Symptoms may include:
● Fever of 100.4 F or above
● Chills/Shaking
● Cough
● Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
● Muscle or body aches
● Headache
● New loss of taste or smell
● Sore Throat
● Nausea or vomiting
● Diarrhea


Guideline 2: Risk: For the safety of everyone, our facility is following CDC, Panhandle Public
Health, and Nebraska Department of Education protocols in order to prevent the spread of
the COVID-19 virus. We recommend that if you are in a high-risk category due to age, pre-
existing chronic illness or condition, are experiencing viral symptoms, or have been exposed
in any way to the virus that you do NOT enter our facility. YOUR ATTENDANCE AT OUR
EVENT(S) IS DONE SO AT YOUR OWN RISK. NEITHER SCHOOL WILL BE HELD LIABLE IF ILLNESS
OCCURS AS A RESULT OF YOUR ATTENDANCE TO THE EVENT.

Guideline 3: CDC and Panhandle Public Health recommend that if you are to experience
extended exposure (exposure longer than 15 minutes and within 6’) of people outside of your
normal family group it is recommended that you wear a mask or face coverings, BUT AT OUR
CURRENT THREAT LEVEL THIS IS NOT REQUIRED.

Guideline 4: Entrance into our facility: Upon entering our stadium, you will be asked to give
contact information in the case of positive exposure at the event. As you wait in line to pay the
admission fee we ask that you keep a distance of 6’ from the next spectator. We ask that
before arriving at our facility you take your temperature and avoid entering the facility if your
temperature is 100.4 or higher.
Guideline 5: Hand Sanitation Stations will be readily available, it is asked that you utilize the
stations as you enter the facility and frequently while in the facility.
Guideline 6: Maintain Social Distance. There will be rows of seating that are “Closed” we ask
that you help us adhere to Panhandle Public Health Recommendations and do not sit in a row
that has been marked as closed.
