Sports Update

Thursday, February 11, 2021 at Mullen Public Schools
1. Please check your athletes temperatures prior to arriving at Mullen. If you have a
temperature, please do NOT attend the games. If student athletes are showing
symptoms, please keep them home.
2. With the 50% capacity requirement for the DHM, we have enough room for 600
spectators. Face Coverings are required for spectators. Hyannis attendance will be
expected to be facilitated by Hyannis administrators.
BASKETBALL -At the Lariat Building
● Mullen vs Hyannis JH Girls start at 12:30- 4 quarters at 6 Minutes, 5 Minute Half
● Mullen vs Hyannis JH Boys will follow-4 quarters at 6 Minutes, 5 Minute Half
● We ask that BB fans not arrive until closer to 12:30 MST.
● We ask that Hyannis players/fans depart the facility directly after the game.
● Please no loitering. If your son/daughter needs to talk to you, please wait for them to
come to the bus.
Locker Rooms
Hyannis will be allowed to use the locker rooms at the Lariat building. Please do not arrive
earlier than 50 minutes prior to the first game.
If you get here early, you will have to sit on the bus or find somewhere to burn some time.
Please be aware of this! If you need earlier access contact Mr. Kuncl or Mr. Kvanvig.
Please remind the kids that class is in session.
If parents need to speak with their player after the game, we would prefer they do it outside
by the busses.
Bus Parking
The Lariat building is located on the Southwest corner of the Highway 97 and Highway 2
intersection. Buses can park in the parking lot North of the building or on the street south of
the building.
