PRE-TRAVEL:            Please temperature check student-athletes & coaches prior to departure

 

LOCATION:                Stapleton Public Schools

 

JV TIMES:                   JV Girls @ 4:30 PM / JV Boys @ 5:00 PM (Two 8-minute quarters each)

 

V TIMES:                    Varsity Girls @ 6:00 PM / Varsity Boys to follow at approximately 7:30 PM

ADMISSION:              $4 adult; $3 student

COVID-19:                  Winter Sports Covid Expectations

WINTER SPORTS GUIDELINES FOR SPECTATORS

Guideline 1: If you are exhibiting any of the following symptoms that are commonly associated with Covid-19, we respectfully request that you do NOT attend any event until you are symptom free for at least 24 hours. Symptoms may include:

  • Fever of 100 F or above

  • Chills/Shaking

  • Cough

  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing

  • Muscle or body aches

  • Headache

  • New loss of taste or smell

  • Sore throat 

  • Nausea or vomiting

Guideline 2: NSAA Winter Guidelines (Updated 12/31/2020) indoor events are restricted to 50% of seating occupancy. The number of allowed spectators will be dictated by the location and number of student-athletes for each event/game. 

  • Stapleton: Four spectators per student-athlete (unless low student-athlete numbers allow for more)

  • Tryon: Two spectators per student-athlete (unless low student-athlete numbers allow for more)

Guideline 3: Masks/Face Coverings will be required for coaches, non-competing fans, and table workers, and ALL fans in accordance with the NSAA 2020-2021 Winter Season Guidelines. 

“Non-compliance with the above may include but not be limited to reprimands, fines or exclusion from the postseason” from the NSAA.

Guideline 4: Ticketing: Upon approaching the ticket gate or concession area we ask that you remain 6 feet away from the next patron. Markings will be placed on the floor, so proper social distancing can be maintained. You will also be asked to have your temperature taken and give contact information in the case of a positive exposure at the event(s).

Guideline 5: Seating Within each respective district’s main gym, the bleachers will have hazard tape to mark six feet between families as asked by the current Nebraska Directed Health Measure. 

Our main priority is to protect the safety and wellbeing of our student-athletes, coaching staff, event workers and you - the fan(s)! 


 

PARKING:                  Please park buses on the west side of school
