Designated Competition Area:
Only competitors in full uniform, designated coaches, and meet officials will be permitted in the track infield and jumps, shot/discus areas.

Boys discus, followed by girls

Competition Area:
The competition areas for all running events, the pole vaults, the horizontal jumps and the shot are the areas inside the chain link fence. The competition area for the discus is the area inside the cage and the flagged areas.
The only individuals allowed in the competition areas are athletes and meet management personnel. Each school’s designated coach will have a flagged coaching box between the two pole vault and jump runways where they may remain while their athletes are competing. Athletic trainers are allowed in the competition areas only upon request. Lexington Athletic Trainers (stationed under the stadium), will be in these areas and if a team trainer is needed, they will request assistance. The competition areas will be controlled by marshals.
Media Area:
Only individuals with a media pass will be allowed in the competition areas. Only one media pass from all local newspapers will be allowed. These individuals are allowed in the competition areas for media purposes of taking pictures only.
