My name is Janie Kuncl and I am a para educator at Mullen Elementary. In addition to being a para, I am honored to be the Head Cross Country Coach and the Co-head Cheer coach. I grew up in Wahoo, Nebraska where I graduated in 1999. After high school, I worked retail as a sales woman until I met my husband Chris, who is the superintendent at Mullen. We got married and we have four beautiful children: Jocelyn, Jacquelyn, Trevor & Braylon and two dogs: Sammy and Rizzo. When I met Chris, I decided to go into the medical field and attend Clarkson College in Omaha where I earned a CNA/MA and began working in assisted living. When Chris was offered a principal position in Cedar Rapids,Nebraska, I became a full time stay at home mom when Braylon was born. In 2014 I started working for Riverside Public Schools in a variety of roles with one being blessed with starting a cross country program. When we were offered the position in Mullen, I was blessed to be asked to help in the school district and start up the Bronco Cross Country program. In our spare time when we are not supporting the Broncos, we love to spend time as a family playing games and watching movies.
