Special visitors today! The preschool classroom had an exciting visit from the Mullen Ambulance today! It was a hands-on learning experience where the students got to see the Ambulance up close, learn about some of the equipment, and understand more about these special helpers in our community.

Senior Advanced Biology students Hayley Donohoe, Tate Kvanvig, Cayden Hampton, and Sydnee Cheever presented their research projects to the Mullen Board of Education tonight!
As part of their dual credit Advanced Biology course, these seniors spend the school year designing and conducting their own research studies. This year’s projects explored butterfly pupation time, the effects of salt on tadpole growth, reaction times of sensitive plants, and the impact of oil on guppies.

Due to road conditions Mullen will not be attending the Maxwell speech meet tomorrow.
Alex, Hayley and Morgan have been hard at work in culinary arts. They mastered the plating challenge with Twinkie's, examined the properties of sugar stages by making pancake syrup, caramels, fudge, glass candy and rock candy; created food art and experimented blending flavors and seasonings on wings and popcorn.










8th graders wrapped up the 2nd trimester in FCS with the completion of their sewing projects. Each student successfully sewed a pair of shorts or pants that fit!

The intro to FCS and kindergarten classes worked collaboratively to create personalized stuffed animals. The kindergarten class colored pictures of monsters and the 9th graders used their hand sewing skills to turn these colored pictures into stuff animals.






Thank you all for your contributions to our Pack the Pantry food and product drive. Through our efforts, we collected 709 items that were delivered to our local food pantry.

Tatum has shown a tremendous amount of growth since the beginning of this school year, is becoming an independent thinker and is showing perseverance when working through challenging classwork.
