Mullen Student of the Month
Mullen Elementary School hangs its 3rd Imagine Learning banner in the last three years! Part of the email sent to the school said the following:
"More than 42,000 schools and districts were eligible for this year’s awards. Of those, 232 schools and districts have been honored as Imagine Nation Schools of Excellence or Districts of Distinction, representing best-in-class implementation and meaningful engagement with Imagine Learning solutions."
Mullen Elementary School finished 17th in the entire NATION in student growth!

Can you prepare a meal for a family of 3 for under $10? The Intro to FCS class successfully planned, shopped and prepared a meal including all 5 food groups with their group of 3 while staying under their $10 budget.

Mullen Elementary School would like to thank The Dismal Golf Club for hosting 16 of our students for WIN Time/State Testing awards! They let us go fishing, putting on the practice green, hitting balls with the golf simulator, pool, shuffleboard, corn hole, connect 4, hiking around, and feeding us all we can eat brick oven pizza! The kids had a great time and were very appreciative of your time and generosity!

The next regular meeting of the Mullen Board of Education will be Monday, May 12, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. in the high school library. Upon advertisement, a draft of the agenda will be available for public inspection on the school website, the NASB Sparq website, and by request to the Superintendent’s office during regular office hours.
Just a reminder our K-6 Elementary Field Day is tomorrow (May 8th)! The weather is looking exceptional for us!

PUBLIC NOTICE
On May 12, 2025 at 9:00 AM, a meeting conducted by Mullen Public Schools will take place at the Superintendent’s office at the 6-12 building in Mullen, Nebraska. The purpose of the meeting will be to provide an opportunity for parents and representatives of nonpublic schools to participate in the development of a plan for providing special education services to children with disabilities who attend nonpublic schools and home schools which are within the Mullen Public Schools district for the 2025-26 school year. Parents of a home-schooled child or a child attending a nonpublic school who has been or may be identified with a disability and attend a nonpublic school within the boundaries of Mullen Public Schools, are urged to attend. If you have further questions pertaining to this meeting, please contact Chris Kuncl, Superintendent at 308-546-2223.
The second grade students had a blast on their field trip to North Platte today! They visited The Fox Theater with Lou, enjoy a picnic lunch at Cody Park, and then ended the day at the Garden Glove Greenhouse.
