1st Grade learned about the setting of a book today (where and when the story takes place) by reading the book, "Balloons Over Broadway: The True Story of the Puppeteer of Macy's Parade." Then they either built or drew their own floats or balloons!

Our 6th grade social studies class really saw history in a new dimension today, we used 3D glasses to learn about ancient Egypt. Let's just say history has never been more eye-opening!

Yesterday we had the privilege of helping out at the Open Door Mission, and I couldn’t be more proud of these amazing students who showed up ready to make a difference. We had an incredible time working with the Toys for Joy Project, sorting toys so kids have an incredible Christmas.

Mullen Public Schools has been named as one of the Top 10 Admired School Districts by The Education Magazine. What an honor for our amazing district!!
The National Honor Society asked and our community delivered! NHS collected 39 coats, 27 blankets and numerous pairs of gloves and hats during the Winter Warm-Up Drive.
These amazing students are headed to Omaha today to the Open Door Mission to deliver the items and serve for the afternoon, spreading warmth and kindness to those who need it most.
Thank you to our community for your incredible generosity!!!
