Mullen Student of the Month
Chase T. Gracey, a senior at Mullen, is the son of Tyler and Nikki Gracey. Chase was selected during the MPS monthly staff member meeting based on his hard work, dedication and attitude. He participates in Football, Wrestling and Track for sports. He is president of the NHS and MYF and is also an Art Club Officer and a mentee in our Teammates program. Chase has accomplished so many great things this past year towards his athletics, such as placing 3rd at State Wrestling and placing in both hurdles and the 4x4 for last year's state runner-up track team.
“Chase has become a leader not only in athletics this year, but in the classroom as well. He always has a positive attitude and is willing to help out when needed”- Kyle Hoyt
“It has been really fun to see Chase develop into an academic focused student over the past couple of years! He really enjoys mathematics and science and has decided to take challenging coursework in order to prepare himself for college and an engineering degree. He shows up to school willing and eager to learn. He deserves this honor because of this drive and dedication to his school work” -Mrs. Hardin
“Chase is a natural leader and has really focused on using this skill set in a positive way. He leads by example and shows hard work pays off.” - Mrs. Andersen.
Congratulations, Chase on this honor.
