Mullen Student Council is spearheading a fundraiser for our FCS Teacher, Kelli (Brost) Walz, and her family. Her husband, Trent, is battling brain cancer. If you are willing to help us out, we are asking for any monetary or silent auction donations. Donated items will be posted on a Facebook page with the ability to place bids prior to the final bidding that will be completed at the February 3rd Mullen vs South Loup basketball game in Mullen. We are hoping to have all donations by January 16th. Please feel free to contact any student council member or Mr. Kvanvig if you would like to make a donation. The link for viewing/bidding on items will be shared by Wednesday, Jan. 18.

The next regular meeting of the Mullen Board of Education will be Monday, January 9, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. in the high school library. Upon advertisement, a draft of the agenda will be available for public inspection on the school website, the NASB Sparq website, and by request to the Superintendent’s office during regular office hours.
Due to weather, the basketball game scheduled with CK Tuesday Jan 3 has been cancled and will not be resceduled.

Our 4th and 5th grade students pitched in and made some gift bags and delivered them to some members in the community. They also dropped off several boxes of goods to our local food pantry here in Mullen.
Thank you to everyone that donated items for the product drive for the Homeless Shelter in North Platte. We collected over 700 items!
