Lola and Brynne had the opportunity to share information about the Choose My Plate model and breakfast choices learned in FCS with the 6th grade class.


Several FCCLA members also competed in knowledge bowl, creed interpretation, infomercial, themed bucket and poster design at District Leadership Conference. Mullen came away with 1st (tie) in Infomercial, 3rd in poster design and Mercedes Garner placed 3rd in creed interpretation.





Mullen FCCLA attended the District 10 Leadership Conference in North Platte today. Tierston Moore served as this year’s District 10 President and played a role in planning and speaking throughout the conference. Ashlyn Simonson and Peyton Paxton, who serve on the State and Peer Officer Teams presented breakout sessions during the afternoon rotations.

Not only did FCCLA members gain knowledge and project ideas during District Leadership Conference, they also had the opportunity to give back to the community by helping Keep North Platte Beautiful with a tree project and learned to swing dance!
