Commissioner’s Recognition - Samuel Coble The Nebraska Career & Technical Student Organizations (CTSOs), a part of the Nebraska Department of Education Center for Student Leadership & Expanded Learning, have a strong tradition of excellence.  This excellence is found in the organizations’ leadership development programs; it is found in their service to their schools and communities; and it is found in their regional, state, and national competitions.  Through competitive event programs, CTSO members have the opportunity to demonstrate the knowledge and skills learned in classrooms and laboratories and apply them to specific career areas. Each year, Nebraska CTSO members excel in their national competitive events—a testimony to the quality instruction and outstanding programs of study provided through Nebraska’s Career & Technical Education programs. This year, we have the opportunity to recognize the outstanding CTSO members who have earned top national honors in their respective organizations as part of the 23rd annual Commissioner’s Recognition for Student Excellence in Nebraska Career & Technical Education. We are pleased to recognize the following students from the Mullen FCCLA chapter: Samuel Coble – Hospitality, Tourism, & Recreation, Level 2, Gold, 1st Place Although this recognition looks different than in the past, this achievement is worth recognizing. We want to commend the students and adviser on the hard work and dedication put into the competitive event this past year. For more information about the Commissioner’s Recognition, including a video from Commissioner Blomstedt, please visit https://www.education.ne.gov/nce/career-technical-student-organizations-ctsos/23rd-annual-commissioners-recognition/.
