On Saturday February 13, 2021, the Heartland Hoops Classic will be held in Grand Island at the Heartland Events Center. This is a basketball invitational for the top boys teams in Nebraska to compete against not only other top teams from Nebraska, but to compete against nationally ranked high school teams. Only two class D teams were invited to compete this year and your Mullen Broncos were one of the teams invited. Due to the frigid weather forecasted for Friday predicting a high temperature of -1 to 0 degrees for a high with -20 to -25 wind chill to go with 1"- 3" of snow, Mullen Public Schools will NOT be in session on Friday February 12, 2021. Have a wonderful weekend!

The junior high and high school did so well at the MNAC Band Clinic! It was a long day, but they learned a lot from Dr. Michael Stephens.

STEM Club would like to thank Mr. Taylor for showing them how to code a rover using calculators! They had a lot of fun navigating their individual courses while using measurements and angles for their program.

HOOKER Co. Spelling Bee. Due to MNAC band Clinic being moved to Wednesday.  The Hooker Co. Spelling Bee will be moved to Feb 22nd @ 2:00 in the Hilltop.

We will use the same list the we used for Hershey. If you need to add or change your list for your student athlete, please let Mr. Kuncl know. Approximately 150 people can be on the list for Sandhills Valley according to their policy.

The MNAC Band Clinic scheduled for Monday February 8, 2021 has been postponed to Wednesday February 10, 2021. The Clinic will still take place at the MPS Lariat Building.

Due to road conditions and frigid temps, Mullen Public Schools will have a 10 AM late start on Monday February 8, 2021. Buses will run accordingly and no morning breakfast will be served. Please have your students dressed appropriately for the frigid temperatures.
