Thank you for supporting the MHS Blood Drive this year! It was a very successful drive with 59 units collected. There were a large number of student donors this year (16) as well as MPS staff (11). We would like to send out a special thank you to the community members that continue to support the students and help save lives by donating blood. This drive was particularly special as Mullen graduate, Hailey (Phipps) Newland, was there working for the American Red Cross! As a MHS student Hailey helped organize this very drive!

A big thank you to Lou Cox-Fornander for putting on a 3rd-6th Grade HAL day here at Mullen Public Schools. We had 5 area schools participate in a day full of team building activities, using problem solving skills, and using critical thinking in every single activity.

Happy Birthday Aurora!

In science, the 2nd grade students explore the different properties of materials used for clothing, such as texture, flexibility, and absorbency. Then students use this information to design and build a hat that protects them from the Sun.

The Broncos headed to Dunning today to compete at MNAC Speech. Both Sydnee and Hope placed, with Sydnee placing 5th in Entertainment and Hope 5th in Program of Oral Interpretation (POI). The remaining Broncos all received Superior ratings, with Daniel in Humorous, Mia in Serious, and Fayth and Lola in Duet. They will take on District Speech next week to punch their ticket to state!

With Mother Nature being uncooperative the past month, Mullen Public Schools will be in session on Friday March 28, 2025 which was a scheduled Continuous Improvement Planning day. This will allow MPS to account for future weather conditions that may be unsavory.
Please reach out to Mr. Kuncl with any questions or concerns that you may have.
Due to forecasted heavy snowfall, Mullen Public Schools will not be in session on Friday March 7, 2025. Please stay safe and have a great weekend.
Happy Birthday Grady!

Mullen Staff Member of the Quarter
This quarter's winner is Kelley Carr
Congratulations to Kelley Carr for being chosen as the Staff Member of the Quarter by our students! Kelley goes above and beyond to keep our school clean and in perfect order. She not only picks up after all of us but also holds us accountable for doing our part. Her dedication is especially evident in the locker rooms, which stay fresh and spotless every day—even during football season!
Thank you, Kelley, for your hard work and commitment to our school!
