The Mullen Speech Team competed at districts today. The results are as follows
Samuel Coble - 1st place and distrist champion in Extemporaneous speaking
Ashlyn Simonson - 1st place and district champion in Persuasive, and 6th place in humorous prose
Faith Miller - 4th place in Persuasive
Samuel and Ashlyn will be representing Mullen in Kearney March 18th for State Speech.
A couple of items for the MHS Blood Drive on Friday:
1. The Red Cross wanted everyone to be aware the FDA is still requiring masks for all donors and volunteers.
2. Please use the north gym doors.

¡ATENCIÓN MULLEN!
My wonderful Spanish IV students will be conducting three Spanish workshops to teach local community members and business owners how to communicate with Spanish speaking customers.
Workshop participants will learn about the Spanish speaking culture, a lesson in proper pronunciation, learn a select list of Spanish vocabulary, and also apply this basic vocabulary to real-life scenarios.
Each student has prepared a resource pack for each participant to take with them. This includes, a vocabulary booklet, practice scripts, and a cultural communication card.
