Our annual Family STEM Night is always such a highlight. We couldn't do it without all the volunteers and assistance. HUGE shoutout to our student volunteers: Harper Andersen, Collin Donohoe, Hayley Donohoe, Justin French, Ady Hampton, Riley Hegland, Brogan Jewell, Tripp Jewell, Ella Rice, & Alex Werner; Mr. Kvanvig; and all the others who helped organize, set up, clean up, and make this event possible. This year, @NEGameandParks, @centralsandhillsarea extension, and @USForestService played critical roles and we're so grateful. Thank you, All!!

MHS STEM club would like to thank everyone who made it to our STEM club family night last evening. We also want to give a huge shout-out to Dane Peterson for educating us on tree seeds, Shania and TL for bringing the beef lab, and the Game and Parks for letting us borrow their wildlife trailer!

The freshmen brought some very special creations to life this week!
Our kindergarteners used their imaginations to draw unique monster designs full of color and personality. Then, our talented freshmen got to work, using their hand sewing skills to turn those drawings into real, huggable stuffed monsters!

Everyone say butter! First grade watched a video on how butter is made for science. Today they each got to take a turn with helping to make butter. They enjoyed trying some on a roll when we were finished.

The Ag Leadership students are hosting a Clothing Drive to support the homeless shelter in North Platte—and we need YOUR help!

The freshmen wanted some online recognition for their work on meter, foot, and rhyme scheme with their poetry.

Happy Birthday Danielle!

MNAC Quiz Bowl
Junior High & High School
Friday, March 21st @Tryon
Jr. High Quiz Bowl: Competes in the Shop, Ag Room, History, Math, and Art rooms.
HS Quiz Bowl: Competes in the Science, Special Education/DL, Business, Library, and English rooms.
Score/Challenge Room: The main office will be where we keep score and review challenges.
Format: Round Robin - We will go through all 12 toss-up questions and bonuses.
Winner will be determined first by the number of wins.
The 1st tie breaker will be the highest number of total points earned for the 10 rounds.
The 2nd tie breaker will be the head to head competition.
If a team feels that a challenge is necessary, the team captain is the only one who may make the challenge and must make the challenge at the time of the answer (before the next question is given). Be sure that you have a legitimate challenge as each challenge lengthens the day. There shall be no questions raised by anyone except the team captain, moderator, or officials. The decision of the judge will be final.
JH and HS competitions will be run independently and simultaneously. Therefore, one of them will finish before the other.
Concessions: Will be available throughout the day: pop, water, candy.
Hospitality room: This is for coaches, sponsors, and bus drivers.
