FCCLA members are getting ready for State! Not only will students be competing for a spot at Nationals through STAR; three members have been selected to serve in other roles at the conference. Ashlyn Simonson will be presenting a session about membership retainment during the breakout youth workshops on Monday afternoon. Jadyn Andersen & Fayth Brown were both selected through an application process as Honorary Conference Assistants and will help keep the conference running smoothly from behind the curtains.

Another way to compete in FCCLA is through online competitive STAR events. Ashlyn Simonson created a new Chapter Website for Mullen FCCLA. Their project information and video is available on the mullenpublicschools.org website under the FCCLA tab. Jadyn & Fayth were selected in the top 15 in the nation and will present their topic at FCCLA's National Leadership Conference in Seattle, Washington this summer. Congratulations!

Happy belated Birthday Danielle!

After collaborating with the National Weather Service and neighboring schools, Mullen Public Schools will not be in session on Monday March 25, 2024 due to the forecasted storm predicting blizzard like conditions. Please plan accordingly and hopefully we will get to see everyone on Tuesday.

Another fun Family STEM Night in the books. A HUGE thank you to our community friends: Anna Baum, Lexi Spurlin, Shelby Ridenour and Ryan Ridenour; student helpers: Erika Massey, Lauren Schoonveld, Toni Massey, Fayth Brown, Brooke Williams, and Jenna Donohoe; STEM Teachers: Mrs. Jewell, Mrs. Hardin, Mr. Taylor and Ms. Donohoe; and all the families for a fun night of learning Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math!
